No jobs view

1. If you try to work while in California, you will be permanently barred from working due to their state laws banning independent contractors.
2. If you have not met the contractual minimum 95% accuracy requirement, you might be suspended from job access. You would receive a message when logging in, if this is the case.
3. Campaigns are seasonal, and often there are no active jobs at all.

No File Found

When you are inactive for awhile, your server connection times out. Exit and relaunch Sigtrack.

First time user and Sigtrack doesn't open.

If the Sigtrack file does not have the FileMaker icon, it means you did not install FileMaker before trying to open it. Once FileMaker is installed, right-click on the Sigtrack icon, choose Open With and choose whatever options get you to the FileMaker executable on your C drive. Take it as a lesson to read instructions here more carefully.

Container Fields Cannot Be Exported

This often happens when either you are logged into your computer with a guest account and not an account that has administrative access to your temp folder. The solution is to log in with a full access account. If you are already logged into your computer as an administrator, make sure Sigtrack isn't already open and minimized. Finally, you may have to ctrl-alt-delete and go to the Task Manager and kill the FileMaker process and relaunch. If you don't immediately see it in the list of open apps, click on Show More.

Searching, but not finding any voters for any signatures.

Only 72% of signatures on average are of registered voters, but if every signature on a page is not found, there might be a problem.

1. Make sure you selected the right jurisdiction.
2. Try searching "smi joh" or another common name combo. If no common names appear, email support@sigtrack.net immediately.

Other Problems

A wide variety of problems can be solved by clearing the FileMaker cache. On PC, go to Edit » Preferences. On Mac, go to FileMaker Pro » Settings. Halfway down the General tab, click on the Delete button to delete cached temp files.

Tips for best performance

Maximize your internet speed. An ethernet connection is faster than wifi. Don't settle for less than 20mbps. From best to worst: fiber, cable, ATT U-Verse, DSL, 4G cellular, 3G cellular, satellite (Starlink may be an exception).
