Be aware that Baltimore City is treated as separate county from Baltimore, the county.

Maryland is super strict. To match, Maryland requires at least a middle initial or fully spelled out middle name to be printed unless there is no middle name in the voter database. John Smith on the petition does not match John Henry Smith in the database. Must be John H. Smith or John Henry Smith for the printed name on the petition. It can be a match if the voter printed their middle name, but the voter database does not have a middle name.

Double initials and abbreviated names like Wm are deficient. J Henry Smith and John H Smith are good, but J H Smith is -n0.

Nickames cannot match to registered names. Mike ≠ Michael and Nicholas ≠ Nick. If you find the voter, but they used a different variation of their name, you must tag it as a non match.
